Grown in the state of Chiapas in Southern Mexico, on the slopes of some of the greenest and richest land in the western hemisphere. Abundant water, volcanic soil and high altitude make conditions perfect for growing this great coffee. Cacao estates in the area contribute to light chocolate nuances in the soil, and consequently, to the coffee as well.
Chiapas is the ”breakaway state” of Mexico, populated by rugged and independent farmers who have fought to keep their culture and their land.
