Classic Colombian is a versatile bean, which can take a wide variety of roasts to expose very different flavor characteristics. With a darker roast, Colombian takes on a smokey chocolatey character. With a lighter roast, the floral and nutty characters are revealed. Experimentation and establishing roast profiles for a new bean is one of John’s favorite parts of roasting, and the Colombian doesn’t disappoint!
