Classic Colombian is a versatile bean, which can take a wide variety of roasts to expose very different flavor characteristics. With a darker roast, Colombian takes on a smokey chocolatey character. With a lighter roast, the floral and nutty characters are revealed. Experimentation and establishing roast profiles for a new bean is one of John’s favorite parts of roasting, and the Colombian doesn’t disappoint! John likes to roast this bean to accent both the “light” and “dark” natures of this classic bean. |
