This estate coffee is grown with shade plants that naturally produce nitrogen and improve the quality of both the soil and the coffee crop, while providing habitat for native fauna. The vast majority of the estate's forests are preserved untouched, with a ratio of nine acres of forest for every acre in cultivation. Another of our “artisan roasts”, we take the beans into, but not completely through second crack, resulting in all of the origin citrus flavors being present, but a slight temperature boost also adds some of the chocolate undertones that makes this one perfectly balanced coffee.
